Job Summary
Job Description Summary
Provides research and support to law school faculty by conducting legal research analyzing cases and statutes drafting and editing legal documents and assisting with scholarship course materials and ongoing academic projects.
Responsibilities
Assist law school faculty with research and scholarship through tasks such as: Conducting legal research using hard copy materials and various databases and resources including WestLaw LexisNexis and academic journals. Assisting in the preparation of research memos articles and case studies. Summarizing and analyzing legal cases statutes and regulations. Collaborating with faculty on ongoing projects providing insights and feedback as needed. Attending meetings and assist in the development of course materials or lectures. Staying updated on relevant legal developments and trends. Drafting typing and editing law-related documents.
Required Qualifications
Fully knowledgeable about the job; be able to handle responsibilities independently and effectively. Possess undergraduate degree in similar and/or related field.
