We are seeking a versatile marketing leader to manage our marketing engagement across Latin America. As our first local marketing person in the region you will design and execute a comprehensive GTM strategy that accounts for the diversity of the LATAM landscape.
You will be responsible for identifying high-growth clusters navigating complex regulatory environments and building a unified voice that resonates across multiple borders. Your work spans social influencers partner and event marketing. You will be a fulcrum of all the regions outbound activity.
Location: São Paulo (plus a few weeks in HQ for an extended orientation)
You Will:
- Holistic Regional Strategy: Design a scalable marketing framework that can be adapted for Tier 1 markets (high volume) and Tier 2/3 markets (high growth).
- Trilingual Content Ecosystem: Oversee the transcreation of all marketing assets ensuring the brand speaks Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese with native-level nuance.
- Agile GTM Execution: Lead product launches across the region prioritizing markets based on data barrier to entry and product-market fit.
- Cross-Border Community & Influencer Growth: Leverage the regions high social media penetration to build a loyal community through influencer partnerships and localized social channels (WhatsApp Instagram TikTok).
- Policy & Comms Collaboration: Work closely with legal and policy teams to navigate the varied regulatory landscapes of the region ensuring brand safety and compliance.
- Event Strategy: Identify and secure a presence at the most influential regional conferences and trade shows to establish industry authority.
You Have:
- 8 years of marketing experience with a deep pan-regional focus across Latin America.
- Independent drive with proven ability to operate within a strategic framework while driving outcomes with less day to day oversight.
- Native or bilingual proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese plus English. This is non-negotiable for regional oversight.
- Broad Market Knowledge: Experience managing marketing efforts in diverse environments from audience demographics to policy nuances to varied audience perception to economics.
- 5 years in Consumer Tech: Deep understanding of the LATAM consumer journey specifically mobile-first behaviors and local trust barriers.
- Strategic Influence: Proven ability to advocate for regional needs (budget product features localizations) at a US-based HQ.
- Data-Driven Scrappiness: Ability to drive growth in low-data environments by being resourceful and hands-on.
