The Asset Leader in converting is responsible for the development of the organization to deliver expected results in safety environmental compliance quality productivity cost and employee development. This position will provide direction to the shift supervisors aide in their development and provide coverage in their absence. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols investigating incidents and leading behavioral safety programs.
- Oversee Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) compliance and environmental regulations.
- Maintain and improve product quality ensuring audits corrective actions and product development support.
- Work with the product office on trial plans feasibility requests and consumption reports to product office leadership.
- Set and achieve production goals drive loss elimination and implement problem-solving tools.
- Drive 30/60/90 actions and lead action items to completion
- Lead Daily and Weekly Operating Reviews (DOR/WOR).
- Own reporting on your designated lines during the daily morning meetings
- Work with planning on the weekly production schedules and DT planning.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing technical team supporting training programs and SOP implementation.
- Implementation of the qualification cards and providing the tools needed for training of employees to achieve next level
- Foster open communication teamwork and strong leadership within the production area.
- Assist in performance management coaching and employee engagement to maintain morale.
- Utilize analytical and decision-making skills to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements: - Bachelors degree in management Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in manufacturing or engineering.
- At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong communication organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to learn production-related programs.
- Knowledge of machinery equipment and industry best practices.
- Ability to work in a high-speed environment with exposure to noise heat and chemicals.
- Must stand walk and climb while wearing the required PPE.
