We are currently seeking a Process Engineer to join our team at our Lewiston ID facility. We are looking for a candidate who is local to the area and interested in a long-term role within a reliable and supportive environment. Your expertise will be a vital part of our operations.
The Process Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance reliability productivity capital implementation and continuous improvement of industrial processes involved in manufacturing tissue paper products. This role will focus on developing KPIs power point presentations and set up cameras to trouble-shoot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor maintain and improve the efficiency output and safety of production processes
- Ensure environmental health and safety compliance
- Analyze raw material usage and cost efficiency
- Identify and drive process improvements in coordination with QA and Safety
- Collect and interpret data troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions
- Ensure all operations meet quality safety and regulatory standards
- Assist with problem-solving and process development activities
- Participate in team meetings to resolve issues and coordinate activities
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
- Communicate equipment and supply needs to supervision
- Support daily operations and maintain workflow as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or a related technical field
- Experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role preferred
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
- Commitment to health safety and environmental compliance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
