The CTO Software team at HP is a global organization of thousands of talented engineers and leaders responsible for the vision strategy architecture engineering and operations of software platforms and technology stacks supporting the companys product portfolio. Our mission is to deliver magical experiences for tens of millions of global customers enabled by state-of-the-art AI-native applications and platforms (infrastructure data shared software developer experience). The CTO Software team also leads technical innovation and external engagements within the software and AI ecosystems and developer communities.
The Executive Assistant to the CTO Software role reports to the Chief Technology Officer of Software at HP. The selected candidate will serve as a trusted partner to stakeholders and executives with the opportunity to deliver tangible value to a global organization of thousands of engineers and make a company-wide impact at HPa global technology powerhouse and long-standing Fortune 100 company with more than 28000 patents over $55 billion in annual revenue and 58000 employees worldwide.
As HP continues to deliver AI capabilities that are reshaping the future of work the selected candidate will have a unique opportunity to evaluate and maximize the use of modern AI-enabled tools to boost productivity and improve the efficiency of daily workflows and hybrid work models.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools to improve productivity reduce manual work and eliminate friction in daily administrative workflows.
- Serve as the CTO of Softwares primary liaison with executive stakeholders and EAs to facilitate communication anticipate needs and manage cross-team meeting scheduling across multiple time zones.
- Partner closely with the Business Operations & Chief of Staff organization and the broader senior EA community to ensure alignment coordination and consistent execution of executive priorities across the CTO Software organization.
- Correspond with internal and external stakeholders on meeting scheduling and administrative matters consistently maintaining professionalism discretion and confidentiality.
- Plan complex domestic and international travel (itineraries visas ground transportation) and manage changes with minimal disruption.
- Operate with pace discretion and strong attention to detail consistently delivering high-quality work amid ambiguity and tight deadlines.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across administrative and operational processes to create efficiencies and reduce friction within the CTO organization.
- Complete a range of administrative tasks including maintaining org charts managing email and messaging distribution lists handling subscriptions processing expenses and ordering supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- Preferably 9 years of general administrative experience or an equivalent combination of experience and college-level education.
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior technology executives with a strong preference for experience in Silicon Valley.
- Demonstrated experience working in a global environment with the ability to manage relationships and scheduling across multiple time zones.
- Preferred: experience providing guidance to other EAs/admins including coverage planning standard work delegation and onboarding in a matrixed or fast-scaling organization.
