ABOUT GATEWAY ADULT RESIDENTIAL CARE

We are an affiliated group of four 24/7 residential care campuses. Our Gateway Gardens facility is a unique campus that specializes in care for adults with memory care needs such as Dementia and Alzheimers disease. We are a sanctuary for these individuals and work hard to care for and serve them with compassion.

Position Summary

Our Facility Maintenance Specialist is an essential part of our maintenance team and is required to independently perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance tasks and coordinate with delegate and/or tradespeople in the completion of work tasks at campus facilities. Duties may include but are not limited to general labor painting plumbing carpentry equipment maintenance/repair routine electrical work that does not require a license preventative maintenance and the care of our campuses.

Qualifications Preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience as a maintenance person in a general maintenance capacity
• Supervisory experience
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems
• Basic knowledge of plumbing systems
• Basic grounds maintenance knowledge
• Experience in working in adult residential care or in a facility serving persons with dementia
