Job Summary
Working Pattern:Typically 5 days in the office with core hours flexible between 8am-6pm.

With our online business constantly growing Total Platform continuing to strengthen and our retail stores remaining distinguished for our customer base our buyers have a big responsibility to create attractive and profitable product ranges across the business. They collaborate with our Designers Merchandisers and Technologists to put together stylish new collections for every season.
The role involves developing and sourcing a premium Womenswear collection for our growing brand Laura Ashley. You will hold responsibility for a number of product groups from outerwear & knitwear to dresses & denim but will ultimately be challenged with curating and buying a beautiful clothing collection which aligns with the brands identity.
What Youll Take On
You will need to be able to build a strong relationship with the brands creative lead to effectively bring to life Laura Ashleys archival print library and work alongside designers and merchandisers based at Next HO to create commercially successful ranges.
The successful candidate will need to effectively manage a large team by delegating resources and workload ensuring team members stay motivated and focused.
What Youll Bring
You should ideally have experience buying Womenswear & Womenswear non clothing product categories with strong analytical and planning skills. You should be able to easily identify the latest trends for this category and have a comprehensive understanding of the market competition. A proven track record in identifying opportunities to streamline the critical path and trade ranges in-season is crucial. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are necessary for effective collaboration. An enthusiastic attitude and a team-player mindset are valued attributes in this role.
