We are seeking a qualified and experienced Solar Electrician to join our installation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing maintaining and troubleshooting solar photovoltaic (PV) systems
Duties & Responsibilities
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Solar Electrician to join our installation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing maintaining and troubleshooting solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission solar PV systems (inverters panels batteries wiring)
- Perform electrical wiring testing and fault-finding
- Ensure installations comply with SANS regulations and safety standards
- Conduct system inspections and maintenance
- Complete installation reports and documentation
- Work closely with project managers and engineers
- Provide on-site support and client guidance when required
Minimum Requirements
- Trade Test Certificate (Electrician)
- Wiremans License (3-phase preferred)
- Proven experience with solar PV installations
- Knowledge of inverters battery systems and solar components
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and compliance standards
- Valid drivers licence
