Data Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Platform Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in OpenShift Kubernetes and Python to support deployment automation and maintenance of infrastructure and data platform components in private cloud and on-premise environments. The role includes managing CI/CD and GitOps pipelines using Helm and Terraform supporting containerized platforms and working with technologies such as Airflow Trino Flink Hive DBT and SQL. Experience in Payments or Banking domains is preferred. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting communication and collaboration skills in fast-paced technical environments.

Qualifications :

Must Have Skills

• OpenShift (70%) and Kubernetes (30%) python on Premise servers/Private Cloud
• Domain : Work experience in  Payments industry(Preferred) or Banking / regermination
• Good knowledge of data components deployment settings & integration
• Deep understanding on the CaaS and containerization
• Good knowledge of data components deployment settings & integration Airflow Trino Flink Hive DBT Open Metadata Superset SQL Iceberg/S3)   

 Responsibilities

• Provisioning and management of resources (compute storage network)
• Operations and Industrialization Engineers responsible for the deployment configuration and maintenance of infrastructure components in a private cloud and on VM/physical servers/ CAAS.
• Deployment and maintenance of GitOps pipelines and templates (Helm/Terraform).
• Automation of deployments and management of the lifecycle of environments (dev/test/prod).
• Implementation of observability (metrics logs tracing) and backups.
• Integration and deployment of solutions in the private cloud (and CI/CD management) for platform pipelines
• Responsible for temple creation for Functional Helm/Terraform templatesDeployed components Interfaces: Collaborates with teams GA GitOps SRE Admins Security/IAM.                                                                

Soft skills

• Good communication skills (both written/verbal) mandatory 
• Oriented towards customer needs and problem solving;
• Willingness to understand and master very complex business applications
• Ability to work quickly and accurately within a team or on an individual basis under pressure with tight deadlines
