Job Responsibilities
The person in this position will answer and respond to phone and email inquiries. Open and distribute mail. Prepare travel requests and secure car rentals for assigned staff. Develop travel reimbursement documentation for assigned staff. Create and monitor Agency Routing Tool (ART) routings and shopping carts. Responsible for bill paying. Assist with ordering office supplies and materials as needed. Assist the office with inventorying and monitoring equipment purchases. Prepare print orders for the departments internal print shop collate and assemble printed projects upon request. Operate as an office backup for this task. Assist with the onboarding of personnel employed by the Office. Assist with the development maintenance and monitoring of internal office procedures. Serve as liaison responsible for disseminating current office/department policies and procedures. Perform additional duties assigned by office leadership.
This position is located in the Office of Career Readiness.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelors degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
A high school diploma and two (2) years of secretarial experience; or an associate degree in secretarial science or related field.
