The IPTSE Business Office Analyst supports a global engineering organization by managing business planning headcount purchased services material spend ED&T and Cycle Plan execution.The analyst will serve as atrusted business advisor to IPTSE leadership ensuring alignment to corporate financial guidance governance requirements and program milestones.
The role requires strong business and engineering acumen clear communication skills and the ability to manage complex crossfunctional processes.
Responsibilities

Purchased Services (PS)
Manage IPTSE Purchased Services spend to approved targets.
Serve as first approver / scrutineer for Ariba PS requests.
Process lead to ensure all PS requests meet corporate screening classification and approval requirements.
Function as the Ariba tool Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for IPTSE users.
Support PS budget returns offsets and directorlevel approval requests.
Material Spend
Manage material spend to approved targets across IPTSE.
Coordinate funds transfers required to support engine builds (e.g. transfers to engine plants for base engines).
Serve as SPOC for engine prototype scheduling and build processes.
Headcount & Workforce Planning
Manage IPTSE headcount to PDRPapproved targets.
Lead Cycle Plan headcount analysis evaluating resource demand versus approved capacity.
Support LL2 / LL3 organizational planning.
What youll do...
ED&T (Engineering Design & Test)
Assess lumpsum ED&T requirements across unit and program work.
Support ED&T budget deployment scrubs and leadership reviews.
Partner with Chiefs and Finance on ED&T prioritization and governance.
Resource & Program Planning
Lead global engine unit and global tophat vehicle program studies.
Manage coststudy process changes for unit and tophat programs.
Support Finance and Planning for program milestone submissions.
Lead prototype vehicle count collection to support DV requirements submitted to VEV.
Conduct comprehensive Cycle Plan analysis including:
- Quality
- OPD
- PVT
- TVM
- Tophat programs
Qualifications
Youll have...
- Bachelors degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting or leading Engineering Business Office functions.
- Minimum 5 years of engineering or technical program experience.
- Strong understanding of Ford engineering financial and sourcing processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex crossfunctional workflows.
Even better you may have...
- MBA or Masters degree.
- 7 years of experience leading Engineering Business Office organizations.
- Demonstrated leadership capability across functional boundaries.
- Proven project management experience in complex environments.
Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidates skills and experience and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope responsibility and competitive market value.
