What we need:

We are seeking energetic passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of Business Services Officer within theDivision of Forestryheadquartered in Franklin County. What you will do

  • Coordinate & perform a variety of fiscal activities personnel and support functions: invoice and voucher processing purchase orders handling billing discrepancies and telephone services.
  • Perform asset management: receive inspect & maintain inventory of materials such as new stock supplies and equipment (add new salvage old) complete bi-annual inspections and annual certification.
  • Perform fleet management: coordinate and oversee an expansive fleet of vehicles and heavy equipment coordinate transfers reassignments vehicle salvage Voyagers cards and fleet log reconciliation.
  • Perform general office duties: prepare routine correspondence manage office equipment prepare and maintain reports & records submit work tickets and serve as IT liaison.
  • Starting hourly pay of $22.96/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 5.5 years of service with an end salary of $27.92/hr.
  • There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service. For more details refer to the OCSEA pay range schedule & longevity rates OCSEA Employees Department of Administrative Services.
