The Warehouse Support Associate manages warehouse operations by receiving storing tracking and distributing materials while maintaining inventory accuracy shipment quality and compliance with warehouse procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts throughout the warehouse using a QR scanner.
- Receive ship load and unload freight manually or using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Process incoming and outgoing goods and supplies for production storage and customer orders.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy and report any issues to the appropriate internal and external contacts.
- Coordinate shipment pickups based on customer purchase orders and supporting documentation.
- Use hand tools to assemble and disassemble crates for large items.
- Maintain adequate inventory of shipping materials.
- Keep the warehouse and shipping dock clean and organized.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED etc.)
- 3 year(s) of experience with warehousing order picking inventory transportation and/or shipping/receiving functions
- 3 year(s) of experience with computer-based logistics software (UPS FEDEX etc.)
- Intermediate experience with the Microsoft suite of products (Word Excel PowerPoint etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of how to complete transactions that involve bills of lading (BOLs)
- 1 year(s) of experience with inventory management (especially in the manufacturing industry)
