Hours: Full-time (Monday Friday 07:00 16:00)

Core Responsibilities
In this role you will be the lead on ensuring the reliability and efficiency of compactors and related industrial machinery. Your duties will include:
Preventative Maintenance: Performing routine checks and repairs to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
Operational Adherence: Following maintenance schedules and housekeeping programmes directed by the Engineering Manager.
Health & Safety: Upholding the highest safety standards ensuring all machinery meets strict legislative requirements.
Team Collaboration: Communicating effectively with colleagues to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
On-Call Support: Participating in an out-of-hours rotational call-out schedule to address plant breakdowns and support planned weekend works when necessary.

Technical Expertise: Proven experience in welding and fabrication along with essential knowledge of hydraulic systems.
Electrical Knowledge: A qualification or significant experience in three-phase electrical systems is highly advantageous.
Safety Conscious: A deep understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and the ability to apply it practically.
Reliability: Flexibility to handle emergency call-outs and shift changes to meet operational demands.
