Senior DevOps Engineer (MS Azure) for Professional Services

Purpose

The Azure Senior DevOps Engineer defines and evolves enterprise-grade DevOps capabilities on Azure. This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership across CI/CD source control strategy infrastructure as code deployment automation release governance security controls and operational observability. The role is expected to create reusable patterns guide multiple delivery teams and improve the speed quality and reliability of software delivery.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Design standardize and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for application and platform workloads in Azure.
• Define source control branching release and environment management strategies across teams and products.
• Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code and automation patterns for Azure environments and shared services.
• Embed security compliance quality gates and automated testing into delivery pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Establish monitoring deployment telemetry and feedback loops to improve delivery performance and platform reliability.
• Mentor engineers review designs and act as a senior technical authority for DevOps practices and platform decisions.

Qualifications :

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• Have Masters degree in Information technologies
• Speak English Upper intermediate (C1) / German language is a benefit
• Have experiences with Agile Methodology Scrum and SAFe
• Have good communication skills analytical thinking team cooperation and presentation skills

Platform Expertise:

• Migration from on-premise solutions to Cloud with cost optimizations - 3 years
• Expertise in designing and architect multi-layered Cloud only / Hybrid networks for Microsoft Azure Cloud - 3 years
• Experience in the design and delivery of systems based on IaaS PaaS and SaaS - 3 years
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines and serverless architectures - 3 years
• Good knowledge of Coding/scripting  (Bash Python PowerShell or similar) - 3 years
• Experienced in Databases (Oracle - migration) Networking (ExpressRoute/VPN) Integration (with SAP systems) - 3 years
• Experienced in Active Directory Azure Identity Management and Azure AD Premium - nice to have
• Connectivity Design: Experience in designing and implementing connectivity for third-party applications cloud integrations and IP networking
• Customer Engagement: Proven ability to act as a customer PoC providing technical guidance and ensuring a smooth transition
• Problem-Solving: Hands-on troubleshooting of platform connectivity and deployment issues to meet customer goals
• Technical Resilience Guidance: Support application owners in increasing resiliency through effective use of Kubernetes and OpenStack

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2600 /brutto.
