Job Summary

Responsibilities of the Ideal Candidate:

  • Job Responsibilities

    • Maintain complete knowledge of andcomply withall departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
    • Anticipate guests needs respondpromptlyand acknowledge all guests.
    • Monitor andmaintaincleanlinesssanitationand organization of assigned workareas.
    • Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
    • Clean and service guest rooms by assignmentcategoryand priority.
    • Transport cart with cleaning supplies amenities and linens to assigned guest room and position securely.
    • Remove all dirty terry and linen and replace with clean par todesignatedlayout.
    • Remove soil dirt soap build-up and hair from bathroom mirrors vanity sink toilet shower walls bathtub showercurtainand floor.
    • Replace all guestroom items required by SOP.
    • Clean closets and door tracks on check-out rooms and ensure correct amount and placement of hangers extra blanket/pillowand luggage rack.
    • Open all drawers/doors in check-out rooms and remove items left byguests.
    • Check under bed(s) chairs and sofa for debris and remove if present.
    • Remove all dust debris and foreign particles from furniture drapes minibar doorswallsand fixtures.
    • Empty liquid from ice bucket and wipe all surfaces dry.
    • Remove trashdebrisand cobwebs frombalcony/patio.
    • Ensurepresenceof fire safety ratecardsand DNDsign.
    • Vacuum carpet inguestroom.
    • Update status of rooms cleaned on assignment sheet.
    • Return and restock cart atendofshift.
    • Empty vacuum bag and wipe vacuum clean.
    • Turn over any lost and found items from guest rooms to the Supervisor.
    • Follow 4 Keys service standards standard operation procedures and safety standards.
    • Follow safety and security procedures.
    • Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team.
    • Follow allappropriate policiesand procedures while constantly striving to improve standards of operations.
    • Adhere to attendance and reliability standards.
    • Follow alladditionalduties asassigned by management.

Pay starts at: $17.90 per hour.

Experience and Education:

  • Preferred 1 year of Housekeeping experience.

Physical Requirements:

The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds frequently to assist guests
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to hear understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff vendors and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation
  • Ability to bend and twist push and pull stoop and kneel
  • Ascend and descend a ladder
