This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health (OMH) Central Office 400 Otarre Parkway Cayce SC 29033.

Under minimal supervision of the Program Manager you will assist with ongoing program growth evaluation and management as well as supports expansion initiatives for the statewide Mobile Crisis Program in order to achieve national standards of emergent access to care. Assist in the oversight of all Mobile Crisis program contract and grant requirements. Serve as the secondary state contact for Mobile Crisis. All job functions to be performed in a culturally aware manner.
Responsibilities for the Mobile Crisis Program Coordinator II include:
- Serve as the Assistant Mobile Crisis Program Manager. Responsible for assisting with continued program evaluation management expansion and oversight for Mobile Crisis. Ensure all Mobile Crisis operations follow the requirement of the contract between OMH and DHHS and additional grant requirements associated with Mobile Crisis. Serve in an Administrative On-Call roll providing coverage for half of the state.
- Serve as the stand-in Program Manager in the absence of the Program Manager or alongside with regard to supervision of Mobile Crisis program staff field staff and administrative oversight. Attend state level meetings and update to senior leadership as requested.
- Represent Mobile Crisis in assigned committees interagency meetings and stakeholder groups. Foster and maintain successful working relationships with community partners probate courts law enforcement first responders hospitals and other state agencies. Assist with education and training of local law enforcement departments on Mobile Crisis.
- Assist with fielding Central Office requests from the Office of General Counsel risk manager and Patient Advocate as well as all internal and external record requests for 3Q as needed. Serve as the secondary contact for Mobile Crisis Call Center to ensure adequate call response times. Ensure services are delivered and documented in compliance with OMH QA and payor source requirements.
- Assist in recruitment efforts for Mobile Crisis as requested and the marketing and promotion of Mobile Crisis statewide. Assist with delivering presentations on outcomes to stakeholders
- Complete all OMH required trainings and seeks opportunities to advance knowledge/skills related to job duties.
- Ensure adherence to agencys Corporate Compliance Policies and Plan.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
- A masters degree in a behavioral health discipline.
- Four (4) years of experience in the helping professions and two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Eligible for licensure such as LPC LMSW LISW-CP or LMFT
Additional Requirements:- Provide consultation to a multi-county area
- Travel frequently in the assigned region moderate in-state travel and minimal overnight travel.
- On-call administrative/clinical supervision and occasional shift-coverage is required.
- Function as a secondary statewide point of contact for all Mobile Crisis needs assist in coordinating the service delivery of mobile psychiatric crisis response services 24/7
- Must be flexible.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
