Silentium Defence is seeking a dynamic Field Service Representative (FSR) to support our customers across Australia and internationally. This role blends technical field support customer engagement and business development making it ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers solving real-world problems and identifying opportunities to growcapability.
Reporting to the Lead Field Service Representative you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service while helping expand Silentium Defences global footprint. Youll represent the organisation at customer sites demonstrations and industry events ensuring our systems perform reliably and our customers remain confident in our solutions.
This is a highly visible hands-on role that offers variety travel and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
What youll be doing
- Build strong trusted relationships with customers through proactive engagement
- Deliver system demonstrations trials and end-user training
- Provide technical support repair and maintenance to ensure system performance
- Identify opportunities and follow up on leads to support business growth
- Represent Silentium Defence at national and international trade shows and events
- Capture customer feedback to support product development and innovation
- Contribute to the development and refinement of training systems and materials
What were looking for
- Strong customer service mindset and relationship-building skills
- Confidence presenting training and engaging with customers
- Technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot systems in the field
- Ability to prioritise plan and manage competing tasks
- A proactive solutions-focused approach and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
Requirements
- Australian Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain NV1 Security Clearance
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Valid passport and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Desirable:
- Experience working in Defence or a technical field service role
- Experience delivering demonstrations trials and technical training

Employment Eligibility
- Applicants must be an Australian citizen and have ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance with a minimum requirement of NV1 clearance.
