Estimator – Electrical and Instrumentation (EandI)

Our client is in need of an experienced Estimator Electrical and Instrumentation (EandI) to join a dynamic team in Midrand. This is a permanent opportunity for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering accurate high-quality tenders and cost estimates.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years technical experience in EandI projects with proven tender development ability.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering or Management.
• Strong construction and engineering contractual knowledge.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CCS (Candy).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate EandI estimates and study tender documents specifications and drawings.
• Verify material take-offs bills of quantities and specifications.
• Conduct commercial adjudication of materials equipment and subcontract quotations.
• Develop complete cost estimates in line with company procedures.
• Participate in introducing new estimating techniques and conduct site visits when required.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement and quality assurance standards.
