OrthoUnited is hiring a Medical Billing Specialist who knows how to take ownership of AR solve problems and drive resultsnot just click through tasks.

This is not a passive billing role. This is for someone who wants to own their accounts fix issues and make a measurable impact.

What Youll Be Doing

• Own and manage insurance and patient AR
• Aggressively follow up on unpaid and underpaid claims
• Identify trends in denials and solve root issues
• Submit corrected claims and appeals with urgency
• Work closely with front desk and clinical teams to fix problems at the source
• Ensure accurate timely payment posting

• 13 years in medical billing / AR follow-up
• Strong understanding of EOBs claims and reimbursement
• Someone who doesnt waityou take initiative and follow things through
• Organized detail-oriented and able to manage multiple accounts
• Comfortable holding others accountable when needed

Bonus Points If You Have

• Outpatient physical therapy or rehab billing experience
• Experience with Medicare Medicaid commercial and workers comp
• A mindset of how do we fix this so it doesnt happen again
