Salary: From $100000 superannuation bonus

Victor Harbor is a picturesque seaside holiday destination in South Australia and in the heart of it all lies Hotel Victor a favourite amongst locals and visitors alike. Overlooking Encounter Bay and Granite Island were only a stones throw from the iconic horse-drawn tramway. Hotel Victor has been a pillar in the community for years. The first stone house Victor Harbor House was built on this site in 1863 as a boarding home for workers in the port business. Over the years the building was licensed and extended until 1961 when it was replaced with a fresh build that underwent refurbishments in 2022 to bring you the Hotel Victor you see today.

With a great history comfortable accommodation delicious food and service with a smile were the perfect setting for our guests to enjoy a restful getaway a cheeky after work drink or a catch-up with friends and family over a delicious meal.

A day in the life of a Publican:

• You know the locals by name they reckon youre one of their own all while keeping a sharp eye on the P&L.
• You run the place like its your own modern-day home keeping things safe smooth and compliant.
• Youre the pillar of the local community and the driving force behind a high-performing team.
• You put out fires before anyone even notices there was smoke.
• You bring the vibe the service and the smiles every shift every day.

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock kegs and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

You already know if this is for you. Youve got the experience the presence and the pride it takes to own a pub like its been yours forever. Youre not just running a venue - youre living the Publican life.

• Hold current industry RSA Responsible Person Badge and RSG qualifications as per South Australian requirements
