Laboratory Senior Chemist

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Senior Chemist to join our team. This position is pivotal in ensuring the quality safety and efficiency of our products within a fast-paced chemical/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will lead analytical method development oversee complex chemical analyses and ensure strict compliance with international quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Performance
Design develop research and validate new analytical methods/experiments to support product development and process improvements.
Lead complex chemical analyses on raw materials in-process samples and finished products using advanced instrumentation (GC-FID GC-MS HPLC etc.)
Oversee the calibration maintenance and troubleshooting of sophisticated laboratory equipment to minimize downtime.
Lead investigations into Out-of Specification (OOS) or Out-of-Trend (OOT) results implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for root cause analysis.
Partner with the Production Department and other Groups experts to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and facilitate smooth technology transfers from lab to plant scale.
Provide technical guidance and training to junior chemists and lab technicians.
Compliance & Quality
Ensure all laboratory activities comply with ISO and cGMP-like standards.
Author and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical reports.
Performs laboratory analysis according to related working instructions.
QHSE(E)
In his/her field:
Be the guarantor of employee safety as senior and ensure compliance and enforcement of the Groups safety approach application of safety instructions procedures and work instructions in force.
To control the proper application of health safety quality and environmental procedures and rules and to propose improvements.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree or above in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Environmental Engineering / or related field.
At least 5 years of professional experience in a laboratory setting preferably in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
Deep proficiency in chromatography (HPLC/GC) and spectroscopy.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems).
Familiarity with ISO and cGMP regulations and quality control systems.
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with GMP regulations.
