Job Summary

As a Care Assistant you will support older adults in their own homes helping them live independently and with dignity.

Care Assistant duties include:

Personal care (washing dressing toileting mobility support)

Meal preparation and support

Medication assistance

Companionship and emotional support

Pet care and assistance with social outings and appointments

Part-Time Working Hours

Part-time hours based on your preferred regular availability

Regular clients to support continuity of care including paid introductions to clients before you start care visits.

Rotas planned up to 6 weeks ahead

Availability to work every other weekend is essential

Pay & Benefits

13.00 per hour weekdays (13.50 specialised care)
13.50 weekends (14.00 specialised care)
Paid travel time
Mileage allowance of 45p per mile

28 days paid holiday (pro rata)

Pension scheme

Full training provided no previous care experience required

Qualifications :

Caring reliable and professional approach
Ability to work independently

Willingness to work alternate weekends (essential)

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential working in rural locations)

Must live within travelling distance of Marlborough & Pewsey

Additional Information :

Enhanced DBS check and references required

Right to work in the UK required
