Job Summary

Analytica is seeking a hands-onTechnical Lead Data Engineeringto support the design development and delivery of modern data and analytics solutions in a cloud-based environment. This role is best suited for a senior engineer who has grown into a leadership role and enjoys mentoring teams whileremainingdeeply involved in technical execution.

This role follows a hybrid schedule;candidates should be located in the DMV area to support in-person collaboration as needed.

The Technical Lead will becontributorwho can lead by exampleguiding engineers coordinating technical delivery and helping teams solve complex engineering challenges. The focus for this role will be heavily centered around Databricks and modern data engineering practices within AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day technical execution for engineering teams delivering data and analytics solutions

  • Serve as a senior hands-on engineer contributing to solution design development troubleshooting and optimization

  • Guide and mentor engineers through technical leadership collaboration and code review

  • Support development and maintenance of scalable data pipelines integrations and processing frameworks within Databricks and AWS

  • Collaborate with architects and program leadership to implement technical solutions aligned with project objectives

  • Help break down requirements into actionable development tasks and support sprint execution

  • Partner with application engineers QA/test teams and business analysts to ensure successful delivery

  • Promote engineering best practices around performance maintainability testing and operational support

  • Assistwith production support root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts

  • Contribute to Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement sprint planning and technical estimation

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain andmaintainany required clearance or suitability determination

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Data Science or related field. Masters degree in a plus.

  • 8 years of experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data processing solutions

  • Hands-onexpertisewith Databricks and modern data engineering frameworks

  • Experience working within AWS cloud environments

  • Strongproficiencyin Python and/or Spark-based data processing

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Git-based workflows and Agile development practices

  • Strong troubleshooting collaboration and communication skills

  • Ability to lead technical efforts whileremaininghands-on in delivery

  • Certification in one or more

  • Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate and/or Databricks Certified Machine Learning Associate

  • AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty and/or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional

  • Experience working in client-facing or consulting environments

  • Strong communicationskills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools
