Position Overview
The Medical Technologist performs routine and stat clinical laboratory testing across Blood Bank Chemistry and Hematology to ensure accurate timely and high-quality patient results. This role operates under laboratory leadership and supports regulatory compliance quality standards and efficient laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and stat laboratory testing accurately and efficiently
• Conduct testing in Blood Bank Chemistry and Hematology
• Review pending logs and resolve outstanding workload issues
• Perform quality control procedures and corrective actions as needed
• Operate troubleshoot and maintain laboratory equipment
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Assist with inventory and reagent management
• Ensure compliance with CAP and regulatory standards
• Support specimen collection processing and referral testing

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree required
• Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology preferred
• Florida Medical Technologist License required or ability to obtain during interview process
• Minimum 3 years of Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist experience required
