Food Runner Zero Bond at Wynn Las Vegas

The Zero Bond Food Runner ensures that all dishes are delivered promptly correctly while maintaining Zero Bonds elevated standards of hospitality. This position requires strong communication skills attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of food menu items delivery etiquette position numbers and steps of service. The Food Runner also assists with pre-bussing resetting tables and supporting both the culinary and service teams to create an exceptional dining experience for all members. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Deliver food from the kitchen to tables with accuracy and efficiency ensuring correct table and position placement. 

• Verbally communicate with the kitchen and expeditor to confirm dishes modification (e.g. allergies dietary needs requests). 

• Spiel menu items including preparation ingredients and modifications. 

• Maintain complete knowledge of the food menu including specifications allergens and garnishes. 

• Support servers with table maintenance including pre-bussing resetting tables and ensure table markings are complete prior to food delivery. 

• Act as a liaison between front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service.  

• Communicate guest needs or feedback to kitchen management and service teams in real time. 

• Uphold Clark County Health Department standards for food handling and cleanliness. 

• Complete all opening closing and ongoing side-work duties as assigned. 

• Greet members and guests with warmth eye contact and professionalism. 

• Anticipate guest needs and respond with urgency discretion and attentiveness. 

• Maintain Wynns uniform grooming and presentation standards at all times. 

• Attend all required training sessions and pre-shift briefings to stay informed of daily priorities new offerings and member notes. 

• Collaborate with team members across departments to support the guest experience including answering questions assisting with inquiries and resolving issues promptly. 

Qualifications :

Job Qualifications  

• Must be 21 years of age or older. 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced upscale dining environment. 

• Passion for food and beverage operations with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. 

• Strong knowledge of food ingredients menu descriptions and allergen awareness. 

• Highly motivated energetic and able to maintain a polished and positive demeanor. 

• Ability to work with trays.  

• Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays in alignment with Zero Bonds programming and business demands. 

• Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a high-volume team-driven environment. 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to follow detailed instructions. 

• Proven ability to multitask adapt quickly under pressure and stay attentive in a demanding environment. 

• Maintains a well-groomed appearance professional posture and personal hygiene in accordance with Wynn grooming and presentation standards. 

Physical Requirements & Benefits 

• Must be able to work on your feet for at least 10 hours per shift. 

• Ability to seize grasp turn and hold objects with hands for extended periods. 

• Fast-paced movements required navigate from one area of the club to another quickly and efficiently. 

• Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. 

• Occasional environmental exposure to heat cold water and outdoor conditions. 

• Ability to bend kneel crouch climb stairs and move with agility as service demands.
