Automotive Regulatory & Compliance Engineer

The Homologation Department of Passenger Cars at Applus IDIADAs Headquarters is seeking a Compliance Regulatory Engineer to join our team. As a key member of IDIADAs Regulatory Information Team (IRIS)* within the Homologation Department of Passenger Cars LCV & Components you will play a vital role in supporting regulatory compliance projects and contributing to the development of cutting-edge automotive regulatory solutions.

IRIS is our specialized regulatory service providing comprehensive supportboth internally to IDIADA and externally to our clientson all automotive regulations primarily for homologation purposes.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Support: Collaborate with the IRIS team on ongoing projects to achieve client objectives efficiently and effectively
• Regulatory Knowledge Development: Undergo comprehensive training to build expertise in vehicle approval requirements and automotive regulations
• Platform Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of IDIADAs new regulatory platform for automotive regulations
• Technical Communication: Transfer technical information and maintain direct contact with clients ensuring clear and effective communication

Qualifications :

Profile

• Strong knowledge of automotive technology
• High-level English proficiency required to support our international operations; additional language skills strongly valued

Valued Assets:

• Knowledge of automotive regulations and standards
• Experience in vehicle certification and homologation processes

Academic Requirements

• Bachelors degree in mechanical Automotive or Industrial Engineering
• Highly Valued: Masters degree in mechanical engineering Automotive Industry or related field
