I&M Machine and Fabrication Corp is looking for an experiencedCNC Machinist.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in programming and operating CNCs. Candidate should be detailed oriented responsible for precision machine work reading blueprints perform set-ups programing and operational functions on CNC lathe and mill.
Duties/Responsibilities
-Ability to read process sheets and blueprints of job to determine machining operations dimensional specifications set up and first part verification process.
-Programming machine to cut specific parts and runs.
-Efficient use of measuring instruments (calipers micrometers height gage etc.)
-Mounting installing aligning and securing tools attachments fixtures and work-pieces on machines using hand tools and precision measuring instruments
-Calculating machine speed and feed ratios and the size and position of cuts
-Inspects first run piece and spot checks succeeding pieces for conformance to specification using operation certification knowledge
-Experience in how to evaluate diagnoses troubleshoot systems and perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
-Fundamental knowledge of metal cutting and machining practices
-Works with team to increase quality and productivity of CNC processes
-Any other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
-Mill machining experience
-Live tooling experience
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.
-Excellent mathematical and computer skills.
-Fanuc and Mastercam experience is a plus!

Rate of Pay: Starting out at $20.00-$33.00hr-rate based on experience.
