What does that look like Youll play a key role in delivering high-quality analytical chemistry work applying LCMS and related techniques to support client projects. Youll work closely with our Technical Lead and broader laboratory team to troubleshoot issues contribute to method development and ensure all scientific outputs meet the highest standards of quality accuracy and compliance.

A day in your new work life
As our Senior Scientist youll take ownership of high-quality analytical chemistry work while contributing to technical problem-solving project delivery and continuous improvement across the lab. Here is a snapshot of what youll be doing:
- Conducting laboratory-based chemistry work in a PC2 environment
- Developing optimising and validating LC-MS/MS methods to support client projects
- Applying LCMS and related analytical techniques including method transfer and troubleshooting analytical issues
- Preparing and reviewing technical documentation including protocols and reports
- Managing your own projects from planning through to delivery
- Troubleshooting problem-solving and contributing technical expertise to study outcomes
- Collaborating with the Technical Lead QA and project teams to ensure compliant method development
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of laboratory practices and workflows
- Supporting client and study-specific technical discussions as required
This role suits an experienced scientist who enjoys autonomy ownership and building deeper technical and leadership capability.
What were looking for
We are looking for a technically strong organised and communicative scientist who can work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team. If this sounds like you lets talk!
- Ideally you will bring a minimum of 5 years LCMS experience with industry exposure highly advantageous
- A bachelors degree in Chemistry is essential
- PhD in Chemistry is highly regarded
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines autonomously
