Our client is an established and fast-growing independent RIA located in Shelton Connecticut. The firm has built a strong reputation by delivering personalized financial planning investment management tax planning and high-touch service to individuals families and high-net-worth clients.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Service Advisor who wants to step into a meaningful client-facing role without being asked to spend their day cold prospecting. The focus of this position is working with existing clients helping them feel cared for supported and confident in the planning work being done on their behalf.
The right person will work directly with the owner of the firm to develop financial plans tax plans and ongoing strategies for clients. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys planning relationship management and providing a white-glove client experience inside a growing advisory firm.

What You Will Do
Serve as an ongoing advisor for existing client relationships.
Work hand in hand with the firm owner to prepare financial plans and tax-planning strategies.
Support client review meetings planning conversations and follow-up items.
Help clients understand their retirement plans investment portfolios tax considerations insurance needs and overall financial picture.
Deliver responsive professional white-glove service to every client.
Identify opportunities to strengthen existing relationships and provide additional value.
Help create capacity for the owner by taking ownership of client service meeting preparation and follow-through.
Maintain strong client notes follow-up activity and internal communication.
Work hand in hand with the firm owner to prepare financial plans and tax-planning strategies.

What We Are Looking For
Experience in wealth management financial planning client service or advisory work.
Strong understanding of financial planning investments retirement planning and client relationship management.
Tax-planning experience is a plus.
CFP designation is preferred but not required.
Series licensing or advisory registration experience is preferred.
Strong communication skills and a client-first mindset.
Ability to build trust with clients and represent the firm professionally.
Organized detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-moving growing RIA environment.
