P-Physical Therapist Assistant

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Geriatrics

Salary Range: $26-34 per hour 35 hours per week Monday-Friday with weekend rotation

This 58-bed skilled nursing facility is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join and provide exceptional care to its geriatric patients. We offer a range of services including post-hospital rehabilitation long-term care and respite care to meet the diverse needs of our residents.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant you will work under the supervision of our licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to our geriatric patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the development and implementation of treatment plans conducting therapeutic exercises and monitoring patients progress. You will also collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geriatric care and a passion for helping older adults maintain their independence and mobility. They should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients families and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

- Associates degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program

- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in geriatric care preferred

- CPR certification

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
