Waminda is seeking a compassionate and committed Case Worker to join our Minga Gudjaga & Birthing on Country team. This role is central to supporting individuals and families experiencing vulnerability using culturally grounded traumainformed and strengthsbased approaches.
About the Role
As a Case Worker you will provide holistic clientcentred case management to support safety healing wellbeing and selfdetermination. You will work closely with community health and service partners to coordinate wraparound supports advocate for clients and help them navigate complex systems.
This role includes outreach and communitybased work and requires strong engagement documentation and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver highquality case management to individuals and families with complex needs
- Conduct holistic assessments and develop individualised strengthsbased case plans
- Provide advocacy referrals and coordinated support across health housing education justice and community services
- Support clients in outreach community and homebased settings
- Participate in case conferences and interagency collaboration
- Maintain accurate confidential case notes and documentation
- Work in alignment with Wamindas cultural frameworks policies and legislative requirements
- Engage in supervision reflective practice training and continuous improvement

You are someone who brings empathy cultural awareness and professionalism to your work. You are resilient organised and committed to walking alongside clients in a strengthbased way.
You will have:
- Experience in case management or support work in community health or human services
- Experience supporting people experiencing vulnerability or complex circumstances
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication organisation and timemanagement skills
- Commitment to ethical practice confidentiality and mandatory reporting responsibilities
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum Certificate IV in Community Services Case Management Social Work or related field (or willingness to work towards)
- Current NSW/ACT Drivers Licence
- National Criminal Record Check
- Working with Children Check
