We are looking to appoint a Senior 1 Nuclear Medicine Technologist with proven substantial post grad experience to join our team at Cromwell Hospital. We are an internationally recognised hospital located in the heart of Kensington London and receive bothUK andinternational patients. We are committed to providing the highest quality healthcare forpatients.
About The Cromwell Hospital
The Cromwell Hospital is a major international private hospital in West London providing care to bothUK andinternational patients. We are committed to providing the highest quality healthcare outpatient and inpatient service care. The hospital has 180 beds and 4 suites theatres medical and surgical wards cardiac centre CDU Urgent Care centre level 2 and 3 full intensive care facilities paediatrics diagnostic services physiotherapy a dedicated day surgery unit and a new cath lab.
Our new modern Radiography department is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology to include;
Two general X-Ray rooms
One fluoroscopy suite which can also be utilised as an additional X-Ray room
One Cone Beam CT scanner
One Bone Density scannerwith advanced body composition analysis capabilities
Two state-of-the-art mobile X-Ray units
Four theatre image intensifiers
How youll help us make health happen:
Youll work as part of a multi-disciplinary team performing all types of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures showing flexibility of shared tasks to ensure that we provide the best quality Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT service in a pleasant environment for both staff and patients ensuring that a high quality cost-effective service is delivered.
Youll be flexible an effective communicator with excellent organisation and attention to detail and able to work collaboratively with other modalities in radiography. Able to perform IV cannulation and administer radioactive injections and other license products confidently. And ensure a safe and efficient environment for our staff and patients.
It is essential that you have confidently used Sectra PACs. Youll be familiar with Siemens and GE scanners with experience as a radiation protection supervisor. You would have also work on paediatrics.
The service is open Monday to Friday 8am-6pm
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
. Hons in Diagnostic Radiography or Diploma of Radionuclide Imaging or equivalent. (essential)
Substantial post-graduate experience in a relevant post. (essential)
Paediatric cases (essential)
Sectra PACs (essential)
Postgraduate studies in Radionuclide Imaging (desirable)
