Schedule: Full-Time Days & Mixed Shifts (Rotating Weekends)
Shift Options: 10s or 12s starting at 6:30 AM

Hourly Pay Range:
$28.00 $38.00 per hour
(Based on experience)
Shift Differentials:
- 2nd Shift: $3.15/hour
- 3rd Shift: $4.00/hour
- On-Call Pay: $5.00/hour
Additional Benefits:

Position Summary
The Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist supports cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons during operative procedures while maintaining a sterile and safe surgical environment. Working under the supervision of the circulating OR RN this role assists with surgical preparation instrumentation management patient positioning sterile processing and intraoperative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize instruments supplies and equipment for CVOR procedures
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during cardiac and thoracic surgeries
- Maintain sterile field throughout all surgical procedures
- Perform surgical counts with circulating RN before and after procedures
- Assist with patient positioning transportation and OR setup
- Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization
- Prepare operating rooms for upcoming surgical cases
- Support efficient surgical workflow and quality patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical and nursing teams
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program required
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
- Minimum 12 years of CVOR experience required
- Prior Operating Room experience required
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
- Strong sterile technique communication and teamwork skills required
- High-acuity cardiovascular and thoracic surgical experience preferred
