Cargo Van Owner/ Operator
Location: Cleveland OH 44125
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Cargo Van Owner operator to run a route and join our team in Cleveland OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting Cargo to various locations within a 300-mile radius ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service. Commission payrates are $0.90 per mile plus $4.00 per stop. Average daily Minimum of $250.00 per day.
Responsibilities
- Operate a cargo van to pick up and deliver Cargo on assigned routes.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage.
- Follow scheduled routes and meet delivery deadlines.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record and criminal background.
- Valid Insurance and current vehicle registration.
- Previous experience driving a cargo van or similar vehicle preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
