Medical Assistant
Job Summary
CHC is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat inspire support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of has been a critical part of Ohios efforts to treat and prevent substance use disorders since 1974.
We are currently looking for a full time Medical Assistant. Position will not exceed but will require 40 hours Monday through Friday 5:30am and 1:30pm.
Duties include:
- Rooming
- Urine Drug Screens
- Scheduling
- Phones
- Clerical Duties
- Other medical office tasks as requested by supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:Must have a high school diploma. Training of the collection process will be provided however previous experience in handling specimen samples would be highly preferred. Requirements for this job include a professional attitude excellent customer service skills and the willingness to be trained. Must display an excellent eye for detail have strong interpersonal communication and time management skills and possess the ability to complete documentation both on the computer and by hand. CPR certification required.
