This opportunity is:

Location: Hilo HI

Status: Full-time

Days/Hours: TBD

Base pay rate: $23.68 to $26.05

In this job you will:

• The Laboratory Assistant Senior performs tasks to support the laboratory technical staff in specimen procurement specimen processing and some basic lab testing.

• Trains new personnel prepares work schedules oversees daily workflow and ensures the site adheres to company policies and practices.

• Perform a vital part of patient care by ensuring laboratory specimens are adequately processed prepared routed and stored.

• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions.

• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements.

• Champion safety compliance and quality control

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• A minimum of two years of phlebotomy experience is required

• Leadership skills required

• Computer skills and medical terminology required

• Customer service experience required

• For hospital settings additional requirements may apply and change without notice including but not limited to criminal background checks health clearance and hospital compliance training.

• Successfully pass Company pre-employment drug test and periodic and random thereafter.
