Senior Data Solution Architect

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Data Solution Architect to join the team in Renton WA.

The selected candidate will be working at the very front of Boeings business in the domain of Sales and Marketing (S&M). Our charge is to provide innovative solutions that equip and enable our sales campaigns across Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Boeing Global Services (BGS) and Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) with the evidence of value and performance of our products. Our division spans every point on the spectrum from marketing to capture new business to sales operations and customer engagement. We are seeking people who have a passion to innovate and be impactful to the success of selling Boeings products.

Position Responsibilities:

• Designs develops maintains and optimizes internal company data architecture for complex databases/data warehouse required to operate the business

• Completes data modelling for acquisition and database implementation collaborating with different stakeholders

• Applies data extraction transformation and loading techniques to connect large and complex data sets from a variety of sources

• Leads creation of data collection frameworks for structured and unstructured data and solves complex data problems to generate features required by data scientists

• Leads activities to develop and maintain complex infrastructure systems (e.g. data warehouses data lakes) including data access application programming interfaces (APIs)

• Analyzes and manages complex data

• Guides other data and analytics professionals on data standards and practices

• Creates a culture of sharing reuse design for scale stability and operational efficiency of data and analytics solutions

• Leads build of repeatable data pipelines across complex multi- and hybrid-cloud environments

• Leverages automation & continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) extensively for scalability repeatability and reuse

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5 years of experience with large-scale data processing distributed computing and cloud platforms

• 5 years of experience with Information Technology architecture including cloud and data architecture in a large-scale hybrid cloud and on-prem environment

• 5 years of experience with the administration of Teradata systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with DevSecOps

• Experience leading teams in collaborative environments and projects
