PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
Family Based Mental Health Services (FBMHS) provide an intensive continuum of family therapy case management and other support services delivered directly in the familys home. The program aims to prevent out-of-home placement of children and adolescents with serious emotional issues. Services include in-home family therapy family education and skill building and 24/7 crisis intervention services.
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the management and supervision of the Family Based teams on their caseload. This includes providing clinical supervision and oversight performing administrative tracking and follow-through and ensuring productivity and team ratio expectations are met.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the provision of clinically sound ethically implemented interventions by Family Based teams supervised.
- Monitor and track submission of paperwork (case notes treatment plans discharge summaries biopsychosocials etc.) and review for regulation adherence clinical integrity and timeliness of submission.
- Hold staff accountable to the policies and practices of the program agency and licensing/overseeing bodies.
- Ensure intensity and integrity of clinical service through monitoring of weekly team/individual productivity and clinical video review; develop hold staff accountable and provide corrective action as necessary to achieve target productivity and model adherence.
- Meet with supervisees for weekly supervision including review of current cases admissions and discharges.
- Assist the Program Director in the recruitment and training of new employees.
- Provide direct and indirect support and supervision to staff in the field as needed.
- Be available for crisis management and support for teams supervised.
- Provide on-call services as determined by the Program Director.

- Establish and hold direct reports responsible for creating a climate that attracts retains and motivates high performance.
- Ensure the caliber of diverse staff with skills appropriate to meet the needs of those served.
- Provide and hold staff responsible for completing staff performance evaluations as expected.
- Provide constructive supervision for all direct reports including ongoing performance feedback.
- Model PHMCs core competencies and holds staff accountable to do the same.
- Mentor and develop direct reports to ensure a core team focused on meeting the priorities of the program.
Team Leadership
- Cooperate and communicate as a multidisciplinary staff team member through formal meetings informal consultations and committee participation.
- Model traits of a responsible team member by executing job responsibilities open communication and good follow-through. Support team members to do the same.
- Demonstrate use and support of the trauma-informed model in all aspects of employment including interactions with clients/students family members other employees community members and stakeholders.
- Respond promptly to the concerns and interests of the clients parents guardians funding entities and other PHMC staff.
Partnerships & Collaborative Relationships
- Establish and maintain relationships with provider organizations regulatory and licensing representatives and referral sources establishing effective and productive working relationships while promoting PHMC.
- Represent the organization before various stakeholder groups to maintain visibility.
- Manage regulatory and accreditation contracts.
- Serve on participate in and attend various committee meetings.
Contributing to the Team
- Participate in regular meetings with staff to ensure priorities are clear coordination is good and communication is open. Develop additional methods for ongoing effective communication.
- Cooperate and communicate as a multidisciplinary staff team member through formal meetings informal consultations and committee participation.
- Model traits of a responsible team member by executing job responsibilities open communication and good follow-through. Support team members to do the same.
- Respond promptly to the concerns and interests of clients parents guardians funding entities and other PHMC staff.

Administrative Activities
- Ensure compliance with all of PHMCs policies and procedures including confidentiality and acting as a mandated reporter in accordance with the law policies and procedures.
- Implement all documentation requirements. Ensure that reports are complete thorough timely and written in the prescribed format. Ensure that staff members do the same.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Family Based Mental Health Services adheres to a Whatever It Takes philosophy. Team members will be expected to step outside of their primary role when necessary for the sake of advancing client progress and maintaining program integrity.

- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data management skills

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- Masters Level or higher professional with the major field of study being social work psychology counseling marriage and family therapy or other human services field
- Strongly Preferred: Licensure in Pennsylvania as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) Professional Counselor (LPC) or Psychologist
Experience
- Minimum of two years of experience providing clinical supervision in child welfare mental health or prevention programs required
- Experience in direct application and supervision of family therapy cognitive behavioral therapy behavior modification family systems and clinical case management
CLEARANCES: Valid child abuse clearance PA criminal history clearance FBI clearance and medical clearance as well as any other clearances required by contract or agency policy
