Impact Hub Berlin is looking for an Event Business Manager (m/w/d).

As the Event Business Manager you are the driving force behind our event business and the face of Impact Hub Berlin for event clients. You combine a deep passion for high-end hospitality with a hunter mentality for sales. Your goal is not just to manage what is there but to actively shape our commercial success automate workflows and ensure every gathering from 10 to 200 people leaves a lasting sustainable impact.

Your deliverables

End-to-End Event Production: You own the customer journey from contract signature to post-event feedback. You ensure seamless execution and coordination with our Event & Hospitality Lead.

Lead-to-Contract Conversion & Product Expertise: Once a lead is generated you take full ownership of the customer journey (high quality offer writing negotiating to closing). As the internal expert on our event products and spaces you provide high-level consultative selling guiding clients to the best possible solutions for their needs.

Hospitality Leadership: You coordinate our service staff and ensure the highest standards of hospitality are met on-site. If there is an event without event service staff than you are the main person of contact for an event.

Process Automation: You continuously optimize our HubSpot (CRM System) workflows (Deal stages automated reminders follow-up cycles) to keep the team agile and responsive.

Strategic Partnerships: You help design creative and repetetive event formats such as hackathons retreats sustainable gala dinners for impact driven founders and partners. You support the Events & Hospitality Lead to develop the events department.

Impact Reporting & Asset Collection: You ensure that every event contributes to our community growth by collecting post-event feedback testimonials and professional content for marketing.

Your qualifications and skills

• Hands-on Mentality: You are the first contact person for each onsite event as Event Manager. You coordinate the event service team during the event as well as the client.

• Passionate Host & Coordinator: You find genuine joy in hosting and organizing. You love keeping all the threads in your hand coordinating complex flows and staying calm under pressure. You have everything under control before a guest even realizes they need something.

• Commercial Mindset: Proven experience in event sales or business development. You understand value-based selling and enjoy the follow-up process to close deals.

• Skilled in negotiating with suppliers engaging with clients and collaborating across departments.

• Fluent in German and English with the ability to communicate professionally with clients partners and team members.

• The right to work in the EU and be based in Berlin.
