Customer Service Representative Service Department
Location:Mueller Furniture
Job Type:Full-Time
FLSA Status:Non-Exempt
Reports To:Service Department Manager
About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative you play a key role in delivering on Mueller Furnitures promise:we do what we say we will do.
Youll be the connection between customers service technicians warehouse staff and managementensuring service requests and warranty claims are handled smoothly accurately and professionally.
What Youll Do
- Schedule and coordinate in-home service appointments
- Receive and track service requests and warranty claims
- Monitor parts orders and notify technicians when items arrive
- Maintain accurate service tickets in company systems
- Communicate clearly with customers on timelines and updates
- Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries promptly
- Coordinate with delivery warehouse and service teams
- Keep organized records using company software
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow company policies procedures and safety standards
- Support the team with additional duties as needed

What You Bring:Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typing speed of at least 30 WPM
- Basic math skills
- Strong communication (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Preferred:
Customer service experience
Experience with service management systems
Familiarity with company software platforms
Work Environment: This role works across office retail and warehouse settings. You may be required to sit or stand for extended periods and adapt to varying work conditions.
