Job Description:
My client is seeking a Software Engineer to support the development enhancement maintenance and automation of enterprise workflow applications and internal operational systems. The role includes designing and developing front-end and workflow automation solutions implementing responsive and accessible web applications supporting DevOps and CI/CD processes working with cloud and containerized environments and assisting with automation tools such as Microsoft Power Platform Power Automate UiPath Jira and ServiceNow. The consultant will collaborate with technical and business teams to streamline processes reduce manual tasks improve operational efficiency and provide ongoing technical support and knowledge transfer to State staff.

Mandatory Qualifications
M1-15 Years of FTE experience in electronic data processing systems study design and programming.
At least 5 years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.
At least 5 years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.
M2-Possess a bachelors degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

M3-10 years of FTE experience in 2 or more of the following Front End Development skills with a focus on what users see and interact with:
HTML CSS SCSS JavaScript: Core technologies for building web interfaces.
Responsive design: Using frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
Cross-browser compatibility: Ensuring consistent behavior across browsers.
Accessibility (a11y): Making applications usable for all users.

M4-10 years of FTE experience with 2 or more of the following DevOps & Deployment Skills for building testing and deploying applications in one or more of the following:
Version control: Git GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI.
Containerization: Docker Kubernetes.
Cloud platforms: AWS Azure Google Cloud.

M5-8 years of FTE experience in one (1) or more of the following areas:
Business-IT Alignment: Ability to translate business goals into technical solutions.
Gap Analysis & Roadmapping: Define current vs. future state architectures and migration strategies.
Technology Evaluation: Conduct research on emerging technologies and assess their fit for organizational needs.
