Job Summary

Lead E-Commerce Engineering (AEM)

Location: Hybrid - 3- 4 days/wk in Fort Lauderdale or Miami FL - open to relocation

Key Responsibilities

Lead development of AEM-driven digital experiences (marketing pages personalization entry flows)
Act as the technical bridge between Product UX Content and Engineering
Provide hands-on architecture and coding leadership within AEM and backend services
Mentor engineers conduct code reviews and drive best practices
Design and support backend integrations (APIs microservices Adobe ecosystem CRM etc.)
Own performance scalability and reliability of customer-facing experiences

Must-Have Experience

Strong hands-on AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) core focus
Java / Spring Boot backend development (AEM backend integrations)
Experience leading engineers in production AEM environments
Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer / AEP / personalization tools
Strong experience with API integrations microservices and distributed systems

Nice to Have

Some React exposure (not the focus)
Experience with AI tools or personalization workflows
Background in e-commerce or high-traffic consumer platforms

Profile

10 years engineering experience 3 years in a lead role
Hands-on leader who enjoys mentoring and collaborating (not a lone wolf)
Strong communicator across technical and non-technical teams

Key Recruiting Callouts

Prioritize deep AEM Adobe ecosystem experience above all else
Must be backend-leaning (Java integrations) not just frontend/React
