Role Overview

Cyrino is seeking a skilled and motivated Power BI Developer to join our data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in business intelligence data visualization and analytics with the ability to transform complex datasets into meaningful insights for business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design develop and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions
3. Build and optimize data models using Power BI DAX and Power Query
4. Connect to multiple data sources (SQL Excel APIs cloud platforms etc.) and integrate data effectively
5. Perform data transformation cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency
6. Optimize report performance and ensure best practices in Power BI development
7. Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance standards
8. Support ad hoc reporting and analytics requests
9. Work closely with data engineering teams to improve data pipelines and datasets

Required Skills

1. Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop & Service
2. Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
3. Experience in Power Query (M language)
4. Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema normalization etc.)
5. Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation
6. Familiarity with ETL processes
7. Exposure to Azure data services (preferred but not mandatory)
8. Understanding of data visualization best practices
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in Big4 or consulting environment is a plus
2. Exposure to tools like Tableau / Qlik is an added advantage
3. Basic understanding of Python or R for analytics (optional)
4. Experience working with large datasets and data warehouses

Educational Qualification

1. Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology Data Analytics or related field
