Data-Oriented Test Engineer

Our client within the European Institutions is currently looking for a Data-Oriented Test Engineer towork on the definition of the scope of testing within the context of each product and release bycollaborating with Test Engineers defining test approaches and reviewing and writing testscenarios.

MID is the name of the project (Multiple Identity Detector)

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE:

• Excellent knowledge of testing standards methods
• Hands on experience in creating efficient test approaches test planning test scenariostest case creation and execution.
• Experience in API testing using Postman Kreya or similar tools.
• Experience using DBs and SQL.
• Experience testing UI based applications.
• Experience in writing and editing automated tests.
• Experience with system integration testing.
• Ability to understand business context define priorities communicate with technologyfocused teams and communicate the outcome of test campaigns.
• Defect Management including prioritization of defects and root cause analysis.
• Test and Defect Management tools.
• Experience in complex enterprise system integration.

Tasks:

• Define the scope of testing within the context of each product and release bycollaborating with Test Engineers defining test approaches and reviewing and writing testscenarios.
• Planning test activities follow up on progress and approach by ensuring priority alignment inside the team driving alignment with the involved parties in setting up the environmentsand tools
• Prepare assessment of the product quality by reviewing requirements designdocumentation creating the test scenarios test cases and test data including automationof the test cases.
• Run assessment of the product quality by running tests and reporting on the outcome.
• Continuously assess and look for ways to improve the quality of the product includingrequirements review and improvement to the testing approach.
• Leverage test analysis and test automation patterns to ensure requirement coverage fastand reliable test execution.
