Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a Critical Access hospital assignment. Candidates with at least 3 years of experience are encouraged to apply and first-time travelers will be considered with the required experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care across ICU Med/Surg ED and swing bed units
- Manage ventilators including Draeger and Hamilton systems
- Deliver emergency and critical respiratory support as needed
- Work independently as the sole RT on shift in a critical access setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
Requirements:
- Active Oregon RRT license required
- Minimum 3 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Certifications required: BLS ACLS PALS and NRP
- Experience in ventilator management required
- Strong critical care and emergency response skills preferred
