Location: Yallah and Shellharbour campuses
1 x Temporary Part-Time position (28 hrs per week) at Yallah until 31 December 2026
1 x Temporary Part-Time position (17.5 hrs per week) at Shellharbour until 17 September 2027
Plus the creation of a talent pool for the locations of Shellharbour Wollongong and Yallah
$85313 - $111461 salary package - includes base salary ($75164 - $98202) plus employers contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (paid pro-rata)

About the role
As a Librarian at TAFE NSW youll be the goto expert who connects students with the information tools and confidence they need to thrive. Youll deliver dynamic customerfocused support both in person and online helping learners build strong information literacy skills and navigate a wide range of digital and physical resources with ease.
Youll collaborate with teaching teams champion our collections and digital guides and promote innovative library services that inspire engagement across campus. If youre energised by helping others learn love staying ahead of emerging technologies and enjoy shaping a modern impactful library experience this is a role where youll make a real difference every day.
About You
Youre an enthusiastic and dedicated library professional who is passionate about delivering highquality library and information services. With a recognised graduate or postgraduate library qualification and eligibility for ALIA Associate membership (Check for your qualification on the ALIA Website) you bring a strong foundation in the principles concepts and theory of contemporary library practice. Your expertise enables you to provide informed guidance support customers effectively and contribute confidently to service delivery.
Techsavvy and futurefocused youre comfortable working with library systems including circulation inventory reporting and analytics and you stay curious about emerging technologies such as digital literacy tools and AI. Youre able to support others in developing these skills and enjoy helping people navigate the evolving information landscape. Adaptable and collaborative you thrive in dynamic environments and are willing to travel occasionally to maintain service continuity across the library network.
