Job Summary
What you will do
- You will build and strengthen relationships with international project partners while actively expanding our global supplier network through targeted outreach initiatives.
- You will identify and source high-quality climate action projects using data analysis and market insights to guide project selection and portfolio development.
- You will lead purchasing planning and contribute to strategic procurement applying a data-driven approach to optimize sourcing decisions.
- You will support and further develop our internal inventory management system and relevant official registers to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- You will stay up to date on developments in the dynamic carbon offset market including standards technologies and market trends.
- You will represent ClimatePartner in selected customer meetings and industry events strengthening relationships and showcasing our expertise.
- You will design and manage data tools to enable efficient processes support partner and project onboarding (including due diligence and legal framework reviews).
Who you are
- You have a Bachelors or Masters degree ideally in Business Economics Supply Chain Management or a related field; a technical background (e.g. renewable energy forestry) is a strong asset.
- You have 25 years of relevant professional experience preferably in procurement supply chain management or the carbon market.
- You bring a solid understanding of the carbon market including key standards technologies and methodologies and you proactively stay informed about market trends.
- You have experience in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management across different regions.
- You are confident in analyzing data to support informed strategic decision-making.
- You demonstrate strong communication stakeholder management and project management skills.
- You are detail-oriented solution-driven and bring strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
