Associate, AI & Automation (Early Career) Colorado Candidates

BETSOL is seeking an earlycareer professional to support AIdriven automation and efficiency initiatives across both internal programs and external client engagements.

This role is designed for someone who will actively use AI tools (including Claude Azure AI Foundry OpenClaw and similar platforms) to analyze how work is performed identify opportunities for automation efficiency and cost reduction and help translate AI capabilities into real measurable outcomes.

The role is intentionally flexible and crosscutting allowing the individual to contribute to internal transformation efforts as well as clientfacing projects depending on business needs.

Candidate will be expected to earn specific Anthropic certifications during the first 3 months.

Key Responsibilities

Applied AI Usage

• Actively use AI tools such as Claude Azure AI Foundry OpenClaw and other AI platforms as part of daytoday work
• Apply AI to support analysis documentation workflow design decision support and solution development
• Develop a strong understanding of where AI adds value vs. where traditional approaches are more appropriate

Automation & Efficiency Improvement

• Analyze workflows and processes to identify automation simplification and costreduction opportunities
• Support the design and implementation of AIenabled or automated solutions that reduce manual effort and improve turnaround time
• Help assess and articulate the impact of automation (effort saved cycle time reduced complexity eliminated)

Internal & ClientFacing Initiatives

• Contribute to internal AI and automation programs that improve how BETSOL operates
• Support external client projects by assisting with AIenabled analysis solution prototyping and implementation
• Work alongside senior engineers consultants and leaders on real delivery initiativesnot just experiments

Prototyping Research & Enablement

• Stay current on emerging trends in generative AI copilots agents and automation platforms
• Rapidly prototype ideas to validate feasibility and value
• Create reusable assets (prompts templates utilities documentation) that can be applied across multiple initiatives

Collaboration & Problem Solving

• Work with engineering delivery operations and leadership teams to understand real business problems
• Translate loosely defined needs into practical executable solutions
• Communicate findings recommendations and outcomes clearly

Qualifications :

• Must be located in Colorado and able to adhere to a hybrid work schedule (1-3 days a week in office)
• Bachelors degree (or finalyear student) in Engineering Computer Science Information Systems Data Science Business Analytics or a related field
• Strong written and communication skills
• Ability to lead customer-facing presentations and demonstrate strong presence in executive-level meetings
• Strong interest in AI automation and applied problem solving
• Comfort using AI tools as part of real work (not just academic exposure)
• Analytical mindset with the ability to break down processes and identify inefficiencies
• Ability to meet working hours Monday through Friday 

Preferred (NicetoHave) Skills

• Handson exposure to Claude AI copilots generative AI tools or automation platforms
• Basic understanding of automation concepts (workflows APIs scripting RPA lowcode tools)
• Familiarity with data analysis reporting or systems integration
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge (Python JavaScript SQL etc.)
• Academic internship or personal projects involving AI automation or process improvement
• Comfort using AI tools as part of real work (not just academic exposure)

• Split across internal initiatives and clientfacing projects
• Focused on turning AI into real efficiency and cost impact

This role is NOT:

• Pure research or theoretical AI work
• A narrowly scoped operational role
• Limited to one function or team

Additional Information :

The salary range for this role is 70000.00 to 75000.00 USD depending on experience.

Must be located in Colorado and able to adhere to a hybrid work schedule (1-3 days a week in office)
