Biochemistry Scientist

• Conduct analytical methods to support analysis monitoring and characterization of samples used in developing and scaling  processes for biological therapeutic treatments
• Perform quantification and characterization methods including UPLC/HPLC iCE CE and N-glycan analyses to be applied against proteins antibodies peptides and conjugates
• Prepare buffers and solutions maintain laboratory space and equipment and support routine lab operations as required.
• Maintain written records (electronic lab notebooks and databases) of all experimental work in accordance with Good Documentation Practices
• Analyze summarize and present experimental data and maintain accurate records in client-provided electronic lab notebooks (ELNs).
• Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional partners proactively communicating issue discussing prioritization and seeking guidance when needed.
• Stay flexible and open to learning new techniques and technologies as project needs evolve.

Qualifications :

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

• At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced collaborative laboratory conducting protein characterization methods such as chromatographic spectroscopic and other detection techniques
• Demonstrated experience  on Agilent systems and with a working knowledge of Empower software to perform capture and data analysis
• The successful candidate must have strong organizational skills good lab safety awareness and effective oral and written communication skills
• Applicants should be self-motivated organized capable of working independently and in a collaborative environment

Basic Minimum Qualifications: 

• At least a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry Chemistry or similar scientific discipline 
• Authorization to work in the country indefinitely without sponsorship 

Additional Information :

Position is full-time Mon-Fri 8am-4pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Bothell WA are encouraged to apply.
